What struck me as a rather melancholy arrangement (by Joe Pass) of “Sunny” – some beautiful voicings in here, creating lots of interesting nuances to exploit when interpreting this arrangement with a loose ballad feel. 4ths tuning.
“blues” – jazz guitar chord solo (joe pass arrangement)
“Blues” – a jazz guitar chord solo arranged by Joe Pass – trying to make look as easy as Joe does is no mean feat! (Perhaps made a bit more challenging given that I’m playing it in fourths tuning.) Whatever one’s tuning, this is a great piece that offers a lot of dynamic and rhythmic possibilities.
